ICT – On the morning of April 19, Quy Nhon University (QNU) worked with representatives of Hung Thinh Corp and leaders of Pegasus International College on the implementation of the signed agreement.
Previously, on January 9, at the signing ceremony of the agreement "Quy Nhon Tourism - Asia Vision", QNU signed a cooperation agreement with Hung Thinh Corp and Pegasus International College on training high-quality tourism human resources, implementing full-time and short-term training programs by international standards in order to contribute to meeting the needs of Quy Nhon tourism, which helped realize its “Asia Vision".

Speaking at the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc My - Rector of QNU said that QNU was an application-orientated higher education institution with a large contingent of experienced and highly qualified lecturers that provided quality human resources to serve the cause of industrialization - modernization of the provinces in the South Central Region - Central Highlands, meeting the needs of society in the period of international integration, especially in the field of tourism, adding that in a spirit of cooperation of the three parties, QNU would try to upgrade its modern facilities and equipment in accordance with the high-quality training programs by international standards in order to create favorable conditions tourism students to study and practice.

Dr. Hank Duyverman, Academic Development Director of Pegasus Vietnam, also emphasized that besides the training programs, learning path and teaching staff, facilities also played an important role and were regarded as one of crucial factors that directly influenced the quality of education. “Vocational training for students is fundamentally different as the curriculum is more open and close to reality than mere training. Therefore, being able to study in an environment with spacious facilities means a lot to students. They will gradually get used to a modern, high-standard and high-quality environment. Thanks to it, the expectation of the training quality will be raised over time and generate the strong motivation for capacity development,” Dr. Hank said.

At the end of the meeting, the three parties agreed to choose an area in QNU to upgrade the infrastructure and continue to come up with the optimal plan to have more in-depth discussions on improving the facilities to ensure the implementation of the signed agreement.
