ICT - On the afternoon of May 29, 2023, "The official launch of the Phase 1 partnership for the Institutional University Cooperation (IUC) with Quy Nhon University (QNU)" took place at QNU’s Hall B with the participation of a large number of leaders, lecturers and those interested.
The "Institutional University Cooperation partnership with Quy Nhon University" (IUC-QNU) is composed of 7 sub-projects with the goal of "Enhancing QNU’s capacity with a view to improving the livelihood and living conditions of the local communities" in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands of Vietnam towards sustainable development”.
The launch of the IUC-QNU project was attended by representatives of relevant partners, government authorities at all levels and enterprises such as the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Vietnam; University Development Cooperation Department - Flanders Interuniversity Council (VLIR-UOS); Leaders of Binh Dinh province; Department of Foreign Affairs of Binh Dinh province; Becamex Binh Dinh Joint-stock Company.
The event is attended by more than 200 leaders, project members, lecturers, PhD students and those interested
At the event, H.E. Mr. Karl Van den Bossche – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium in Vietnam, voiced his feelings and expressed great hope for the success of the IUC-QNU project in the near future.

Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, expressed the provincial leaders’ interest in the field of science and technology and the role of QNU in the development of not only Binh Dinh province but also the South Central Coast - Central Highlands of Vietnam. He also highly appreciated the vision of IUC-QNU project and congratulated QNU for being one of five universities worldwide selected to implement the IUC Project.
Mr. Lam Hai Giang highly appreciates the vision of IUC-QNU and expresses Binh Dinh province leaders' interest in the field of science and technology.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc My - Rector of QNU expressed his sincere thanks to representatives of government agencies, delegations, businesses of the Kingdom of Belgium and Binh Dinh authorities at all levels for their support and creation of favorable conditions for the implementation of IUC-QNU project.
The event not only serves as a milestone marking the first steps in connecting QNU with the international academic community, but also opens up opportunities to foster multilateral relationships and cooperation, towards the sustainable development of QNU and localities.
The event took place successfully, signaling the prosperity of the projects in the near future.
