ICT - On the morning of January 9, at the Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony of "Quy Nhon Tourism - Asia Vision", Quy Nhon University (QNU) signed a cooperation agreement with Hung Thinh Group and Pegasus International School on training high-quality tourism human resources, which helped Quy Nhon tourism actualize its "Asian vision".
Attending the ceremony, on the side of the Central Committee were Mr. Doan Van Viet - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Thien - Member of the National Monetary and Financial Policy Advisory Council; Dr. Tran Du Lich - Former member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Group and on the side of Binh Dinh provincial leaders were Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Council, Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Ngo Hoang Nam - Chairman of the Quy Nhon City People's Committee. On the side of enterprises were is the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), JSC Tourism and Marketing Transport (Vietravel); Pegasus Investment and Consulting Joint-Stock Company. In addition, the ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Vietnam Golf Association, Ho Chi Minh City Real Estate Association, the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association and many distinguished guests who represented large businesses and corporations across Vietnam. Representatives of QNU were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc My - Rector and head of the Center for Admissions and Business Relations.
With a strong tourism development in recent years, Quy Nhon City is facing a shortage of tourism human resources, especially high-quality human resources by international standards. In order to contribute to meeting the needs of the tourism industry, Hung Thinh Group signed a cooperation agreement with QNU and Pegasus International School to implement full-time and short-term training programs by international standards. Under the agreement, Hung Thinh Land announced a sponsorship of 100 billion VND (US$4 million) for 3 years. This funding source will be used to finance QNU’s training. In addition, the Group will provide 10,000 jobs in the field of tourism for local residents in 5 years through a cooperation program between Hung Thinh Group, Pegasus International School and QNU.
This is a great opportunity for QNU students to access sponsored scholarships, improve their practical skills and work in Binh Dinh in a professional tourism environment with their minds at ease.

Talking about activities to enhance Quy Nhon tourism, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hung Thinh Group said: "Hung Thinh Group has always actively cooperated with leading domestic and foreign enterprises in the jointly improving of the quality of Quy Nhon tourism, enhancing the stature of Quy Nhon tourism brand, contributing more to the socio-economic development of Quy Nhon. The signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Hung Thinh Group and many famous domestic and foreign partners in general and the cooperation agreement on human resources training with QNU in particular is said to be a big "kick-start" right in an important period of the tourism industry in early 2022. Through this event, QNU carries out the mission of training and developing high-quality human resources, fostering talents, serving the community and continues to affirm its status as one of the educational institutions that effectively serve the sustainable development of the locality and the country, especially in the South Central region - Central Highlands.
