Physics is the natural science that studies matter and its motion and behavior through space and time and that studies the related entities of energy and force. Physics is one of the most fundamental scientific disciplines, and its main goal is to understand how the universe behaves.

1. Training objectives
Physics undergraduates are trained to gain:
- professional expertise, political qualities, ethics and good health;
- a basic knowledge of Mathematics, Computer Science, along with specialized knowledge and in-depth knowledge of Physics and practical skills required;
- logical and creative thought.

- Specialized subjects: Semiconductor Physics; Magnetism and Superconductivity; Optical Properties of Solids; Material Analysis Techniques; Solid State Physics Experiment.
