YU - In 05 days (26-30 July, 2023), Quy Nhon University (QNU)'s Youth Union cooperated with the Youth Union of Binh Dinh General Hospital (with the sponsorship of the Mat Tay Pharmacy Chain) in carrying out an international summer volunteer campaign in Champasak province (Laos). The campaign with many meaningful activities was expected to make a contribution to cementing the friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Many practical activities benefiting local residents
In Laos, the volunteer group brought with it the mission to promote friendship between Vietnam and Laos. In 05 days, the volunteer group carried out many activities in Champasak province such as donating some computers and printers worth 15 million VND (US$600) to a primary school and giving 100 gift bags to poor but good students and disadvantaged households.

In addition, the volunteer group cooperated with the Health Department of Champasak province in providing a medical check-up for and giving medicine to the disadvantaged residents as well as organizing cultural and sports exchanges with QNU’s Lao alumni.

With practical and meaningful activities, this year's summer volunteer campaign of QNU’s youth Union not only brought real values, both material and spiritual, to Champasak residents.
The 2023 international summer volunteer campaign in Laos is an activity carried out every 2 years by QNU’s Youth Union. This activity aims to contribute to promoting QNU’s brand and image to the southern provinces of Laos, where many Lao students have been studying at QNU. At the same time, this kind of activity also helps contribute to the development of cooperative relations between Binh Dinh province and the southern provinces of Laos in general and Champasak province in particular, cementing the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
