ICT - On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of Lao People’s Democratic Republic National Day (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2022), on the afternoon of December 2, Quy Nhon University (QNU) held an informal meeting with Lao students studying at QNU.

At the meeting, on behalf of QNU leadership, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Tien Trung - Head of Research Affairs & International Relations Office gave gifts and offered his congratulations to Lao students studying at QNU on the occasion of the National Day of Lao PDR, expressing the wish that Lao students continue to strive in learning and training to record the best achievements, contributing to building a richer and stronger Laos.

On this occasion, Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union and Vietnam Student Union of Binh Dinh also visited and gave gifts to Lao students. Ms Huynh Thi Thanh Nguyet - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union hoped that Lao students would continue to strive and achieve many good results during their study and training at QNU. In addition, Ms Huynh Thi Thanh Nguyet also wanted Lao students to actively participate in Union and Association activities to become a bridge and contribute to the building of the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

Touched by the deep interest of QNU’s leadership and the Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union, Sounthay Saitamboy, on behalf of Lao students, expressed his sincere thanks to QNU’s leadership and lecturers and promised to study hard to contribute to the building of Laos, cultivating the friendship between Vietnam - Laos.
Over the years, QNU has always created favorable conditions for Lao students to study as well as cultural exchange activities between students of the two countries. The meeting was one of the activities showing the interest of QNU and Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union and Associations for Lao students studying at the University, contributing to strengthening the cooperation between the University and four southern provinces of Laos in particular, further tightening the close solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in general.
