ICT - On the morning of November 16, Quy Nhon University (QNU) welcomed Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang - Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Da Nang.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien - Vice Rector of QNU expressed joy at welcoming the Consul General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang to visit the University. Talking about the Lao students’s studies at QNU, he said that QNU's training of Lao students had lasted for nearly 20 years with about 1,000 Lao undergraduate and graduate students, adding that currently, 78 Lao students were studying at QNU and that the University always provides them with care, especially their studies. He expressed the hope that in the coming time, the Lao government would continue to cooperate with QNU in the training and management of Lao students at the University.

On behalf of the Lao government, Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang - Consul General of the Lao PDR in Da Nang thanked the University for the warm welcome and appreciated the University's training of Lao students, saying that his visit to QNU aimed at continuing to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two countries in the field of education and training, finding out more thoughts and aspirations of the Lao students with a view to working with the University to constantly focus on improving the quality of human resources training to serve the development of Laos in the new period.

On this occasion, Mr. Souphanh Hadaohueang also spent a lot of time talking with Lao students, encouraging them to study hard so that after graduation, they would return and make a contribution to the development of their homeland.
